In 2008, construction is anticipated to begin on 1481 Post Street – one of San Francisco’s new architectural landmarks. Currently in the entitlement phase, this proposed development located between Octavia and Gough Streets, consists of 36 floors of housing over a two-story, glass-clad, transparent base containing retail, commercial, and community uses.

The ADCO Group, project sponsor of the 1481 Post Street Development, has been a steadfast and committed community partner of San Francisco’s Cathedral Hill neighborhood for over 40 years. Beginning in the 1960’s, ADCO helped assemble the land for the current site of the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption – what has become one of San Francisco’s most recognizable landmarks. Over the past four decades, ADCO has been involved in several notable Cathedral Hill developments, including Cathedral Hill Plaza (1333 Gough Street), Cathedral Hill Tower (1200 Gough Street), and the Normandy Apartments (1155 Ellis Street) and understands the importance of respecting the past while building for the future.

1481 Post Street, ADCO’s latest proposal, marks a new era in mixed-use development – merging an elegant architectural design with increased homeownership opportunities and neighborhood services.
